As we are at the very beginning of the study, the alternatives we are considering are all very conceptual—no decisions have been made about what the final service will look like going down the street, nor where we will have stations to access the system.

We began by considering the existing transit services in the study area:

  • Local Bus
    • 16 routes pass through the study area
  • Baltimore Metro
    • 15.5 total miles
    • 14 stations
    • Peak service operates every 8 minutes

As part of this study, we will be looking at how to make the existing transit lines serve the study area better, either as feeder services to a new line or as improved versions of the services already out on the street. Community feedback will help us identify if there are any near-term service improvements that should be considered to enhance transit options in your community.
