Alternatives Under Study

While we have general destinations in mind from the Regional Rail Plan, no decisions have been made about actual alignments and stations at this time.
The alternatives under study represent proven technologies appropriate to the Baltimore metropolitan area and reflect the options available for corridors like this one.
Several mode options will be considered
- Light Rail Transit (LRT)
- Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)
- Heavy Rail Transit (HRT)
Community feedback helps determine:
- How the area should be served
- What areas should be served
- What connections should be made
- What cultural and environmental resources to be aware of
