Alternatives Under Study PDF Print E-mail
  • While we have general destinations in mind from the Regional Rail Plan, no decisions have been made about actual alignments and stations at this time.
  • The alternatives under study represent proven technologies appropriate to the Baltimore metropolitan area and reflect the options available for corridors like this one.
  • Several mode options will be considered
    • Light Rail Transit (LRT)
    • Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)
    • Heavy Rail Transit (HRT)
  • Community feedback helps determine:
    • How the area should be served
    • What areas should be served
    • What connections should be made
    • What cultural and environmental resources to be aware of
